So, is Nucular War on the horizon?

Quote of the Day:

Never take the advice of someone who has not had your kind of trouble.

Sidney Harris

  1. NDE’s
I got good news! I’m a prime candidate for a near-death experience because I apparantly suffer from chronic REM intrusion. I didn’t even know that REM intrusion existed, but it pretty much sums up every single sleep-related problem I have, not to mention a few that effect me during the day. Thanks, The Daily Grail!

    1. I do too, Thrust
      Jameske’s good, isn’t he!

Here’s a little statistic I saw yesterday on CNN.They had a poll asking people which counry they saw as the greatest threat to the world.
They named the US, Iran, China,N.Korea and Iraq.
The response was 65% for the US with the rest pretty much divided amongst the others.
      There y’ go.

      1. I was being sarcastic, but
I was being sarcastic, but yeah….

And I’d expect the most powerful nation in the world, at any given time, to get the most points in such a poll. No surprise there.

        1. Countries
Of course, if you took those idiotic, left-leaning people who voted for the U.S. and told them that they had to leave their home and move to one of the nations in that list, which one would they go to? I can’t imagine even the most delusional, hard-core Leftist actually picking any of those countries over the U.S. If they do, well then they deserve what they get. Be careful what you wish for….

          1. Yeah the most “dangerous”
Yeah the most “dangerous” country is also the most sought after to live in. Intersting how that works. Bush hating leftists would love to say those poll results are because of it’s current leadership, but that’s not true. From the beginning of time, people would generally perfer to be on the inside of the borders of the most powerful nation.

  2. US team explain NDEs
the article goes somewhat similar with saying that a book is a rectangular box – and this explains the book phenomenon

i’ve been about dead over 10x – i can’t recall any bright light – but more like gray or milky mist and even this on some occasions while on others it’s just (we can say) tunneling or tuning from one system to another and sometimes it’s as clear and natural as stepping from one room to another only the one you stepped to was not visible from the one you left although just as you return you remember how to see it and from there but this remnant charge goes hiking the next time you sleep if you don’t make special measures to preserv this syncro and preserving this syncro is like being in two places at the same time as it usually is more inharmonic here your ability to stay harmonic there with connection to your harmonic here fades the more you let yourself be untuned here – the common practice is that you recon multitude only fractions of second after you return but if the charge there(s (it’s actually not the one and the same spot you end up there)) is a speciffic kind it may stay sub resident – so you can channel your (data) retrieval and transmision and through this different tuned part of you, bla bla bla

however the NDE is not exactly OOB but they are in common used much as synonyms cause you can be OOB when you’re N your D and you can start nearing your D if you are too !long! OOB – the scientists should apreciate that and make no news out of no news.

  3. I’d say that nukular war is pretty much on the menu.
Poor old Dubya, he is looking awful and if possible sounding even worse.
But not as bad as Condi Rice.
I saw her today explaining why Iran’s tiny nuclear undertaking is a threat to world peace.
Her hair was disshevelled, she was talking too fast and she made no sense.
Maybe a case of the lady does not believe it herself.
I always admired Condi’s firmly cemented hairdo and her total belief that she was on the right track with Dubya.
But this was a different Condi.
I suppose rats always leave a sinking ship.
