    Hi,

Now then it seems that some of those silly scientific ideas as to how gas and oil came to be can finally laid to rot.
It wasn’t new to me, the russians have known and acted upon it for some time now. Yukos has plenty of expertise in this- and thus khodorfsky as have his moneylenders the rothchilds, whether the latest peakoil scare was just another scam to cash in and sell off the oil stock before knowledge of this becomes widespread, well i think yes, but thats all beside the crux of this article.
Its about how and where deep (5Km) oil drilling is done and what they come up with. It’s another matter alltogether whether we want our environment ‘heated’ further.

  2. Inca Capital
Puma. Maybe Otorongo of the West, the Andean Jaguar deity. Warrior spirit, transcendant rainbow being.

Could it represent a link to the Mayan and Aztec Jaguar gods, I wonder? The Aztec Tezcatlipoca, god of the “smoking mirror”, is often depicted in Jaguar form. I believe the Mayan god of the underworld has a Jaguar shape, as well.

I wonder what amazing things we’d learn if not for the Spanish / Christian culture destroying so much of Central and South American history and mythology?

  3. Quote of the day
Ah, P.J., he’s my hero. If you ever run across his book, “Eat the Rich” buy it and enjoy! He will give you the best, easiest discourse in the core mechanisms of economics. In particular, he compares the best and worst examples of capitalism and socialism in a way that strips all the mumbo jumbo away and makes you laugh at the same time. Too bad, university wasn’t that much fun.

  4. For Neo-slaves only
This interview with Corinne Maier, the corporate world’s latest pariah for authoring ‘Hello Laziness” for all us slacker wannabes, has more juice than that msnbc article.

I’m reminded of amazon’s synopsis of The Corporation:

The most powerful class of institution on earth, the corporation, is by any reasonable measure hopelessly and unavoidably demented. The corporation lies, steals and kills without remorse and without hesitation when it serves the interests of its shareholders to do so. It obeys the law only when the costs of crime exceed the profits. Corporate social responsibility is impossible except insofar as it is insincere. At once a diagnosis and a course of treatment, The Corporation is essential reading for those who want to understand the nature of the modern business system. It is a sober and careful attempt to describe the world as it is, rather than as corporate public relations departments would have us believe it to be. It reveals a world more exotic and more terrifying than any of us could have imagined. And although a billion dollar industry is trying to convince you otherwise, the corporations that surround us are not our friends. Charming and plausible though they are, they can only ever see us as resources to be used. This is the real world, not science fiction, and it really is us or them.
