  1. Bauval gets conspiratorial
I’ve traded e-mails with Bauval a few times on political matters. Believe me, when it comes to politics the guy is a leftist nut job.

      1. Bauval
Because many of his political views, at least the ones I’ve learned of, can be considered to be on the far left: anti-America, Pro-socialist, anti-Israeli, ect. I’m talking about the Michael Moore, tin-hat, conspritorial, lunitic fringe where anyone not bowing down before the corrupt and impotent U.N. are Nazis and where free market capitalism as practiced in western countries is evil. Some of his e-mails to me were so arrogant, so anti-American and so “left” that I cringe at buying his books now. Of course I will though because won’t let his politics get in the way of my enjoying his work.

        1. Of ‘lefts’, Bauval et al.
          Hello!

Firstly I’d love to know who I’m exchanging messages with. Hiding behind anonymity is good for neither of us!

Secondly, would you care to elaborate a bit further?

          1. I think I’ll pass…
            Hello,

            Ok, you’ve convinced me!

Come back when you grow up…

            Happy recovery from your illness!

        2. Huh?
Can anyone explain to my why being “Leftist” is equated to being “Anti-American”? There must surely be some left wing Americans who love their country out there. Oh, by the way, the US’ biggest supporter over Iraq, Tony Blair, is a socialist and his party, which is in power in the UK, is a socialist and self-proclaimed “left-wing” party. Just thought I would mention that.

To sit in silence when we should protest makes cowards out of men

          1. me too
I was thinking the same thing Cernig, but deleted my post because I didn’t want to make waves on political matters.
However I would like to mention that I have many US friends who are liberal and not anti-American at all.
In fact they are very concerned for their country.
