Coming in from the Cold Fusion

As Jameske mentioned in his news briefs on Tuesday, cold fusion is back in the spotlight with the recent “significant evidence” published by a research group from the U.S. Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWAR). The newly presented findings are actually just one paper out of thirty presented on the topic at this year’s American Chemical Society National Meeting.

The SPAWAR “evidence” is based on visual identification of the presence of excited neutrons, a byproduct of the fusion reaction:

One team, led by Pamela Mosier-Boss, an analytical chemist at the U.S. Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, has announced visual evidence of a fusion-like reaction. “If you have fusion going on, then you have to have neutrons,” Mosier-Boss said in a statement. “People have always asked ‘Where’s the neutrons,'” she said, and in their presentation, they reported finding evidence of these neurons. By exposing a special kind of plastic to the reaction, patterns of minute dents (or “triple tracks” that show three close nearby forms) were made by excited neutrons created from a nuclear reaction, they report.

I haven’t followed the cold fusion controversy very closely over the years, so can’t comment too much on how this affects the field and/or its critics. I’d suggest checking the Wikipedia page for a basic summary, and threads to follow, for an introduction. Also, this 1996 JSE article by Edmund Storms (PDF) reviewing the literature might be helpful, and Nobel Laureate Brian Josephson has tracked the controversy (along with a number of other scientific heresies) on his website.

  1. Again!
Now lets see if others can replicate the results! This is where it has always fallen apart in the past.

Its a really good example of not trusting single positive experiments. Though i suppose evidence of neutron emission is interesting, if it was just statistical evidence it would be harder to get excited.

We have all learn’t to be very cautious of cold fusion!

  2. Why Navy, Why Neutrons, Why Now?
No, replication was not the failing of P&F’s design. It worked. It still works. Practical generators have been built on this design. Why no papers on this? There are, in journals from places like Italy and Japan. But none from the US, only highly repetitive denigration mostly from people who know nothing of the history or science involved, other than other people made fun of it before them. Strange way for scientists to behave, no? Believe me, they act that strange and more. Everyone with any interest in science as actually practiced by those fallible and irrational humans should read “The Golem” by Collins and Pinch. Eddington’s photos couldn’t have proven Einstein was right. Michaelson and Morely’s ether theory was never disproven. Transfer of learning by chemical means (James McConnell & The Work Runner’s Digest) is discredited despite 80% positive replications while the theory of solar neutrinos remained intact for 20 years with many replications showing only 1/3 the amount predicted. This and more (including contrary views and data to be fair), all referenced so one can review the literature themselves rather than take some science historians’ word for it. The chapter on cold fusion was so well researched that they found the name of the graduate student who carried a manuscript to be sent via overnight delivery, or not sent at all, depending on the decision of the authors.

Most attempts at replication of P&F’s work was not. Many changed the design to what they thought would be a better way, probably so they could get some of the glory. Different design, different results. The lack of neutrons was often repeated as proof P&F’s design couldn’t be fusion. Judge for yourself the seriousness and/or intention of those who made the ‘no neutrons claim in light of this fact: P&F said in their paper there was a lack of neutrons and that was an amazing result. Those who actually replicated P&F got positive results: excess heat, no excess neutrons. Those who changed the design got nothing but pissed off that a couple of chemists were claiming a monumental breakthrough in nuclear physics.

One of the positive replications was done by the US Department of Energy immediately after P&F’s publication. Despite results, they shelved it. It was dug out and reexamined in 2004. Again it was shelved. In the mean time, far more complex, difficult and expensive fusion projects such as Tokamaks (the largest being ITER) and the National Ignition Facility burned up enough money to build thousands of P&F’s original design.

One plausible rationale for these can be found by examining the history of fission reactors. Uranium was used first because it was more readily available. Thorium could have been used, with a high cost of manufacture, but with many positive factors such as the fact it must be kept breeding; if the control processes failed it would scram itself cold. That, and the fact that the fuel thorium dioxide is a nearly inert substance with one of the highest melting point recorded mean no possibility of meltdown or poisoning. Thorium fission produces “thermal” (read “slow”) neutrons. These are absorbed by the remaining fuel. Although these slow neutrons are produced, very little of it is “excess”. Several experimental thorium reactors were built. They worked. The last was shut down over 20 years ago.

Instead, the inferior and dangerous uranium (and later plutonium) reactors were built. These had many drawbacks that the thorium design didn’t. They also had something else thorium didn’t: excess neutrons. These weren’t thermal neutrons — they had higher energies. However, if thermal is what you want, a “moderator” such as water or polyethylene (more expensive than water but much better) will slow them down. You just use enough moderator to slow them to the speed you want.

So what’s so good about (thermal) neutrons that designs that produce them are built, or attempting to get built, or as in the case of ITER, closed shop before even breaking ground?

Plutonium 244 has a half life of 80 million years, long enough that trace amount are found in nature, but so “slow” that it cannot be used for fission technologies. However, it can be converted to Pu239 by bombardment with thermal neutrons. That’s the fastest fissile form of plutonium, given to spontaneous chain reactions. Still, natural plutonium is so rare that much energy must be expended in creating miniscule amounts of it.

So how lucky we are then that Uranium 238, the common isotope, can also be converted to Pu239 by thermal neutron bombardment. If HTML had sarcasm /sarcasm markers, I’d have put them around the previous sentence, just so there was no mistaking it.

Why is this design being publicized when processes that produce comparable amounts of energy are ignored? The large amounts (from relatively fast and hot reactions) of thermal neutrons (slowed by a moderator) are good for only one thing.

    Weapons.

That also helps explain why a military lab was involved. Oh sure, there’s nuclear electrical generating stations. They crank out all manner of nasties, but don’t produce plutonium. Maybe so, but every single one of them either had built in, or could be easily retrofitted to have, the ability to produce thermal neutrons for the bombardment of U238 to create extremely fissile Pu239.

Was there some conspiracy behind the ridicule of P&F’s design? Almost certainly not. Results were reported as soon as 2 weeks after theirs. It’s possible but not likely. However, after the government themselves replicated it and found energy but no neutrons, they closed their own shop. Many jounrals printed many papers criticizing P&F based solely on accepted theory, refusing to recognize the possibility of a possible addition to accepted theory, and the vast majority of which did so without any evidence, indeed without even attempting to build a device. And as if it needs to be said, the sorts of research and researchers to which neutrons vs. no neutrons are important are funded mostly by the government. The government itself has several labs that to some degree perform research directly or indirectly applicable to nuclear weapons design and manufacture. Shut off weapons funding to Los Alamos, and the place would become a ghost town following the exodus of the the greatest per capita concentration of PhDs in the world.

If the design in the article works out, it could be a valuable energy production process. The government(s) know that shortages will occur sooner or later, and following enough shortages, people will riot, revolt or revert to pre-electrical technology, attended by much mayhem, destruction and death. If it works, they will build them, but energy production won’t be the primary reason. If it were, thorium fission and P&F cold fusion would already be in use. No, if this design gets developed it will be, to paraphrase The Hardest Working Man In Show Business:

Such a drag, Papa’s got a brand new thermonuclear bag.

No, I am not the brain specialist…..
YES. Yes I AM the brain specialist.

    1. how to not boil water
It still bothers me that we are very indirect in energy usage. We are wasting a lot of energy in the conversions.

What do we really want to do?

We want to go somewhere, or move things, or make things hot, or make things cold, or have more light.

Electricity is good intermediate agent for doing many of these things, but in itself it is not useful. So we convert it to something we actually want. This is usually quite inefficient.

We have many ways of making electric energy. With a few exceptions, they involve boiling water and/or burning something. Again the conversion is quite inefficient.

The transmission of electricity, in the ways we do it now, is quite inefficient.

We don’t seem to have any way to do something directly. Even if we do it ourselves, with our hands and feet and brainds, it is supported by farming or hunting. More often, by farming and then trucking and cooling, then lighting and heating.

All is not lost. But almost all is lost – in conversion of energy.

If we could just skip a step here and there, we would be fine.

it is when you get there.

    2. Vested interests
The people who really had a vested interest in cold fusion going away were the fusion scientists themselves. IIRC the original Pons/Fleischmann announcement came out right in the middle of one of their periodic funding crises. (Chemical societies and papers tend to be more likely to quietly accommodate some LENR activity – there’s always been an element of chemists-versus-physicists to the LENR controversy. Note that the latest conference is an American Chemical Society event.)

    3. Cold fusion specialist, if not brain.
You (plus some reading) have converted me over to thorium. Sounds much better. Whereas production and simplicity may have been as excuse 50 years ago it definitely isn’t today. Roll on thorium. Looks like it is still a step in the production of nuclear bombs though through its by products, and dirty bombs especially so there will still be complaints.

I’ll just have to leave the cold fusion debate alone i think. Until more hits the mainstream. Too much to read right now. Would be great if there were no problems scaling it up though.

      Thanks

The present version of WP’s Cold Fusion article is less dismissive than it was once, but it still looks like an activist hitjob by the usual suspects. New Energy Times, a pro-LENR site, has its own introduction to the topic. If “cold fusion” is something real, by the way, it may not be fusion. There is apparently at least one new theory that it’s a new and different kind of nuclear reaction, one which is compatible with the standard model.

    1. Who cares if it’s not cold fusion!
Maybe it is something new that Science overlooked.

Maybe it’s not what the original discoverers thought.

Mesmer’s theories regarding what he did were complete B.S. Bu the man stumbled upon something incredible, which we now call hypnotism—and which we barely understand yet BTW.

      This deserves more research, dammit!!

      1. Amen to that
I agree. I mentioned the “is it fusion?” question for exactly that reason: it seems that both supporters and detractors have been hung up on the fusion hypothesis.

        1. is it useful
I agree. We should investigate if this is useful as an energy source. Or indeed if it is useful for something else.

          Anything strange should be investigated.

Surely even an Italian patent should be enough for the main line media to feel that they can now safely cover this potentially world changing “miracle.”
Only the media can insure that it quickly and cheaply reaches the people, without interference from politics, finance, industry, and anybody else who likes to see the poor kept poor.

  5. Guardian
This morning I put a very small blog on the guardian saying “many people would not have work when the Rossi E-CAT is developed after Oct/ Nov this year” and that “it had been granted an Italian Patent and been verified by university’s.”

The blog has been removed by a moderator as ” not conforming to policy”.

What is going on, this is serious.

Sorry Red Pill Forgot the link but if the patent office accepted it I have to think that they have taken into consideration every negative element.

        1. Patently obvious?
I’m honestly not sure about that. The US patent office is not a peer-reviewed scientific journal; they might easily weed out the applications that are obviously ridiculous or inviable, but do we know for certain that every single patent issued by them is bound to become a workable device?

After all, their primary function is not to validate scientific claims, but to make sure that no one has been issued a patent on a similar invention. It’s an economical goal.

Red Pill, I will bow to your better Knowledge but just say I pray that the validity of Rossi’s endeavors are genuine and true, for the sake of all mankind.

For the moment I will ride with my feelings that it is true.
    Seth says belief brings reality.

    1. better WHAT? 😉
      You talkin’ to me? 😛

I share your sentiment that there’s definitely something behind the cold fusion controversy. It might not come down to a new source of energy, but it certainly promises us to strengthen our understanding of Nature.

      1. Saga continues
If Rossi’s device is normal physics then there needs to be very many red faces and apologies .

NASA probably have had something like the Rossi cold fusion for years, now Rossi has found it they will suddenly discover it again and get an American patent before giving Rossi one.

must comment on your statement,”I have never been much of a conspiracy theorist believer but some very strange things are happening with Rossi Cold Fusion.
Apparently the Rossi pages have been removed from Wikipedia.”

The meaning of the word, conspire. Every pollitician and Military commandor and all others above other people conspire every single day.

The world is full of conspiriacies….no need to theorise about them…they exist in one form or another on every level of social interaction. The culprit…GREED.

          2. Thefloppy1
Thanks Thefloppy1, Of course a degree of conspiracy or secrecy would be deemed necessary in many areas, but once silly things like, free speech, public good, best for humanity etc. are taken into account, a point is reached where a “conspiracy,” is something much more.

U.F.O.’s Cold Fusion, etc. seem to fall into the area of “CONSPIRACY.”

“If the people don’t sort it out nobody will” George 2011.

          3. conspiracies…
not hard to find who is behind these conspiracies…follow the money trail.
Magnetic energy shows far greater promise then cold fusion, but it is debunked and blocked at every turn because there is no money to be made by the millitary industrial complex. So they block it and even murder to prevent this happening.
There are many forms of energy production that is ecologicaly friendly and relativly cheap once the infrastructure is established. But again the MIC will miss out on billions of dollars so again they surpress it.
            No that is your conspiracy.

  8. Rossi E-CAT
From the, Journal of Nuclear Physics, I think it puts the whole of academic “science” in the correct perspective.

    Wladimir Guglinski
    May 19th, 2011 at 8:52 AM

    Dr. Pietro Cambi
The confirmation of Rossi’s technology by an university was important one year ago, so that to show to investors that Rossi’s technology really works. That’s why the confirmation by the Bologna University was crucial.
As the E-Cat is already going on the market, it means that it’s working. So there is no need any confirmation by any university.

There is in general a belief that something can work only when it is confirmed by an university. The scientific community used along the 20th Century such belief in order to fool the people, by convincing them that many experiments which defy the prevailing theories cannot be taking seriously in consideration because they had no confirmation by universities.
But the own universities refused to repeat the experiments.
By this way they have created a vicious circle:
    – all the peer review journals refuse to publish the paper describing the experiment, because it violates some principles of current theories.
    – all the universities refuse to repeat the experiment, because it was not published in any peer review journal
    – so the experiment cannot be taken seriously, because it was not published in any peer review journal, it was not replicated by any university, and so its results were not confirmed.

Tesla’s inventions in the field of free energy are an example.

It seems such conspiracy of the academics against the scientific method will end in 2012.

If the people don’t do it nobody will.

    1. Having done a lot of farting
Having done a lot of farting around with magnetic fields and water I am quite sure our physical and chemical theories are incomplete and maybe hugely so. The whole “Joe Cell” phenomenon points in the same direction. There are vibrational realms not fully accounted for by physics as we currently know it – even the wildest of physical ideas are overlooking it. We used to call this weird gas “what is it” after the Egyptians term “mfkzt” for alleged “white powder gold.” However, we discovered that water could be modified by magnetic fields to mimic and maybe even “be” the strange monatomic gold which then led some of us to conclude tha this unusual substance was actually a form of hydrogen and that certain other subsctance such as “white powder gold” were actually spawning the odd form of hydrogen by contact with hydrogen.
It isn’t surprising to ormus research that hydrogen should be so important to cold fusion. It is important to everything and was literally and figuratively prime matter since the Big whatever it was that set this universe in motion. It will loom large in the next quantum technological leap.

  9. All mad
If only these blogs and articles on cold fusion where being published by the main line media.
It appears that 90% of the world is living in some sort of crazy, self destructive dream.

To digress slightly, nobody seems to look at the obvious situation where technology has been advancing almost expediently since the fifties; this of course means that far fewer people are needed to work to maintain all necessities and all reasonable luxuries for all.
Yet instead of people celebrating every time an advance puts people put of work so that they can have more leisure or help society in general, people live in fear of this happening.

Instead of retirement ages rising everybody should be able to retire at say 40 if they wish, or carry on as long as they like.

Instead pointless, circular non-productive jobs are created in finance etc.
It is all an illusion, remove all finance and reward the people who are most benefit to society.

Of course lots of obvious problems but people are so brainwashed they actually find themselves defending the current system.

Rossi’s E-CAT can remove millions of jobs for the benefit of all, but it will be put to the people as a problem, instead of the wonderful opportunity to get people out of work and enjoy their lives.

    1. conspiracy

  10. Cold Fusion, Update
Perhaps our closed minded friends would like to debunk this.

    Dear Daniele,

Defkalion Green Technologies s.a. cordially invites you to attend its press conference to announce a technological breakthrough in energy with exclusive rights to Greece.

    Kind Regards,

    Symeon Tsalikoglou

    Press Conference
    Invitation

GREECE’s ANSWER TO THE INTERNATIONAL CRISIS

    HYDROGEN & NICKEL EXOTHERMIC REACTION

    CHEAP, CLEAN & GREEN ENERGY

    Thursday 23rd June, 2011 @ 14:30
    Municipality of Palaio Faliro
    Terpsihoris 51 & Artemidos

RSVP: [omissis] A Reception will follow

Today, there is great pessimism regarding the future energy needs of our planet. Energy will soon become universally cheap, clean and readily usable.

Andrea Rossi and Sergio Focardi have discovered and patented a technology that will change the world’s energy field. This technology will be made commercially available by Defkalion Green Technologies s.a., a Greek company.

By combining Hydrogen and Nickel to create an exothermic reaction (at room temperatures and in a device that can be safely placed in households and also industry) heat is emitted on a 24-hour basis. This energy is produced at a fraction of the cost in comparison to currently available energy sources, it is clean and totally green. Furthermore, using conventional, readily available third-party technologies, the heat can also be used to produce electricity.

Defkalion Green Technologies s.a. has secured exclusive distribution rights for the entire world, except for the USA and military applications. It will start production and first distribution of its products from its factory in Xanthi for the Greek and Balkan markets, initially. Two more factories are scheduled within 2012. International sales are already strong in demand, which will spur exports.

Suffice to say, that Greece possesses 83% of Europe’s Nickel deposits, a key strategic consideration. Furthermore, at this time of the global financial crisis, Greece is faced with a golden opportunity to become energy self-sufficient, gain in employment in one of its most underdeveloped regions, as well as become a technological leader in this new scientific field.

The press conference will comprise of undisclosed to-date information relating the technology’s commercial and industrial applications, the company’s strategic placements, as well as commercial issues that are of interest not only to Defkalion’s future customers, but also to the political society of our country. It goes without saying that such an important development also possesses a strong international dimension in many aspects.

    Sincerely,

    Defkalion Green Technologies s.a.

    1. Re: the scads of money being
Re: the scads of money being made by WPG gold producers. It is likely that someone is making money from WPG as it is used in advanced catalytic conversion. GE was the first big company to come snooping around David Hudson’s weird WPG back in the 70’s, and their interest was catalysis.

WPG also has great effects on blood sugar issues and diabetes. Because true white powder gold does not assay in the normal manner a drug company could be hiding it in drugs and no one would be the wiser, so there is a potential for making scads of money that way.

  11. Cold Fusion
Just to remind everybody that Rossi’s E-CAT is still on schedule for release in October,
If this is not science fiction, it will be science fiction come true.

  12. October the 6th.
Sorry to bring this up again but on the 6th October a test will be run on the Rossi E-CAT that should give confirmation of it’s reality.
If this is so it will be the biggest change for the World since the Computer.

    1. Exciting
      Finger’s crossed hay!

Since that paper in Science it looks like laser fusion with more energy out than in might be on the horizon as well (12-18 months if the physicists are correct). Since that will basically use water as the fuel source maybe it will be more environmentally sound than powering the planet using large scale mining of nickel – mind you, I can’t imagine the mining industry minding!

      1. Yeah, it sounds
        Yeah, it sounds interesting.

I don’t know what is going on with all this cold fusion stuff. It’s like physics experts in global academia and industry (both national and private) don’t have a clue, but grail commenter’s are experts on it.

Either way I find cold fusion a little depressing. I’d liken it to the evolution debates I had in Saudi where apparently all the millions of biologists around the world are in collusion with a secret Jewish world government to spread lies to bring people away from Islam. Given how easy it would be to get headlines with a hoax cold fusion experiment (our tabloids are full of hoax’s everyday, especially medical, – they love that sort of stuff) it seems that the people who have discovered the real thing are apparently utterly inept at publicising their discovery, as well as useless at raising private finance. The energy company I am contracted to at the moment has a whole PR division just for handling local and national media. I suggest that any companies with cold fusion tech really need to hire a PR company – that’s what the large companies do.

I like to read what people say on the grail and other sites just to see where things are at in a years time. I find that the best way to judge any claim, be it in science or the paranormal – to see how it has progressed each year. The E-CAT looks more interesting than most.

  13. Cold Fusion
Reports from Mr. Rossi’s 28th. October test are starting to come out, below is a sample.

The analysis was conducted by Bob Higgins of Motorola and sent to Mats Lewan (Ny Teknik), Alan and others at Vortex. He has also joined the discussion on that thread.

    Hello Mr. Lewan,
I am enclosing my spreadsheet analysis of the data you published for Ing. Rossi’s October 6 test at U. of Bologna of his E-cat. In this analysis, I tried to incorporate reported items such as water leakage, heat loss through the insulation, difference in source water temperature and the water temperature of Tin, and the final energy stored in the E-cat when the experiment was terminated. If you have the occasion to look through this analysis, I would appreciate hearing of anything you find that may not be consistent with your observation as a first hand witness to the test. You are welcome to share this with others that may also be able to evaluate the analysis for missing features or wrong calculations.

We considered the possibility of contamination of the Tout by the hot water/steam of the heat exchanger primary input. However, because the secondary water was flowing up out of the secondary outlet and out of the brass header, and the contamination primary heat would have to pass this water to reach the thermocouple, and because the flow rate was high in the secondary, heat from the primary inlet would quickly be diverted into the secondary outlet water. Thus, very little of this contamination heat would make it to the thermocouple and cause temperature error – we regarded it as a possible minor second order error. If you draw a cross-section picture of this pipe and the flowing water, you can see how possible contamination heat from the primary inlet would likely terminate in the secondary outlet water long before reaching the thermocouple.

I would agree with everyone else that there was much that could have been improved the experiment, but the real point now it to understand the data we have and determine what information that can be derived from it with confidence.

It is interesting now how the skeptical criticism on the net seems to be switching from “doesn’t work at all” to “doesn’t work with acceptable commercial COP”. Are the skeptics now convinced there was large scale excess energy? In and of itself, this is a physics shattering breakthrough. It is clear from the data that the COP would have been much higher if the test had been run for a longer period. I am personally excited by the results and data from the experiment.

Thanks to Ing. Rossi for hosting the experiment – he was under obligation to no one to do the experiment – and to you for reporting the data.

    Regards,
    Bob Higgins

    1. English!
Could someone explain this to me in English? or better yet, in Spanish 😉

From what I’ve read so far here and in other articles, the test was somewhat tantalizing but not entirely conclusive.

      1. I wonder if the real
I wonder if the real reservations concern scale. Could such reactions be realistically scaled up to provide energy enough to power a community of any size, or are we talking about a leviathan of an energy plant to heat an office building? Cold fusion is probably very real, but is it even remotely ready for prime time?

      2. English! #1
red pill junkie, to complicated to explain the saga, suffice to say Cold Fusion is looking very probable but final confirmation to convince the scientists who have been saying it’s impossible because it’s beyond known science, (how stupid can science get) is on it’s way.
        Keep watching.

        1. Thanks
I think that, best case scenario, some scientists will go on the record and say they are intrigued by these results, and would encourage more experiments.

That doesn’t mean we are all going to be seeing Mr Fusion portable units on Amazon any time soon! Even if the reality of cold fusion is established, I bet several years (maybe decades) will pass before we see the technology trickle down to the consumer market.

          1. I guess it also depends on
I guess it also depends on how safe it is. At the moment it seems to be being claimed that people are not sure about the mechanisms behind something like the E-CAT. I’d suggest knowing how the thing worked.

Wouldn’t it be cool if you had something like a subspace power generator deriving energy from a subspace boundary layer. But before we all go building the things it might be nice if we were sure we hadn’t accidentally built something that was going to blow us up!

Actually thinking back to orgone energy and all these generators people are building without knowing how they work I hope they don’t create a black hole out of the planet.

All I’m saying is that without knowing how something works it is best to be cautious, even if it is cool.

          2. from the La-La-Loo-Dee-Lay-Dept.
We wouldn’t want to end up like the Androsynth, would we? :3

            OR

Don’t tell me you aren’t looking forward to your future life of not being able to move forward in time except by pleasantly birthing yourself through your own rectum, etc etc etc? :3

          3. Say Cheese!

Actually thinking back to orgone energy and all these generators people are building without knowing how they work I hope they don’t create a black hole out of the planet.

Did you know that the actual chemical processes by which cheese is created were not fully understood for thousands of years? 😉

      1. “Actually thinking back to
“Actually thinking back to orgone energy and all these generators people are building without knowing how they work I hope they don’t create a black hole out of the planet.”

What makes you think we don’t know how they work?

  14. Mr. Rossi Announcement
We have waited a very long time but is this the end in sight.

    DEAR GEORGEHANTS:
YOUR COMMENT IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE OPENS THE GATE FOR THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
THE TESTS OF THE THIRD INDIPENDENT PARTY HAVE BEEN COMPLETED YESTERDAY.
I DID NOT ATTEND, THEREFORE I DO NOT KNOW EXACTLY THE RESULTS, THAT WILL SURELY BE PUBLISHED BY THE EXAMINATORS, PROBABLY AROUND THE HALF OF APRIL. I MET THE 11 PROFESSORS AND EXPERTS THAT MADE THE TESTS AND THEY WERE VERY POSITIVE. ONE OF THEM TOLD ME ” WE GOT EVIDENCE THAT THE ‘ EFFECT’ IS REAL BEYOND ANY REASONABLE DOUBT”. I COULD NOT GET MORE INFORMATION, BECAUSE THEY NOW HAVE TO ELABORATE THE DATA TO PREPARE THE PUBLICATION. ALL THE PROFESSORS SAID THE TEST IS GONE WELL, VERY WELL. THE LAST TEST ENDED AFTER 120 HOURS OF UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION OF THE REACTORS ( THE NEW GENERATION OF HOT CATS IS MADE BY A TWO STAGE SYSTEM, MADE WITH AN ACTIVATOR WITH RESISTANCES COUPLED WITH A KIND OF CHARGE, WHICH ACTIVATES THE E-CAT WITH A DIFFERENT CHARGE). THE EFFECT IS STUNNING, WE SAW IN OUR PRIVATE TESTS, AND HAS BEEN REPLICATED BY THE THIRD INDIPENDENT PARTY.
NOW WE PASS TO THE INDUSTRIAL ENGAGEMENTS: WE HAVE TO DELIVER OUR PLANTS BY THE END OF APRIL.
    WARM REGARDS,
    ANDREA ROSSI

  15. New Evidence
Well people it is time to catch up on the progress with Cold Fusion on these pages.
I will just put up the link to the Website where all the Wonderful, exciting new news is covered.
We really are entering a new World if and when we can all help to release Cold Fusion from the censoring and denial of the establishment etc.
