This book is currently on my ‘want’ list: Hidden Realms, Lost Civilizations, and Beings from Other Worlds (Amazon US and UK), by influential Fortean writer/researcher Jerome Clark.

Claims of supernatural realms, parallel worlds, and lost civilizations are put to the test in this well-researched guide to the unexplained. Firsthand accounts and historical documents are explored, and in-depth coverage is provided on the mysteries of imagination, culture, perception, consciousness, being, and more. Included in this collection are Richard S. Shaver’s personal experience of hell—replete with demons and ghouls—modern and ancient accounts of fairyland, life on Mars, alien worlds, parallel universes, and mystery airships. Also examined are the supernatural myths surrounding Mount Shasta, which include accounts of telepathic Lemurians living on its slopes, as reported by the Los Angeles Times. More than 40 beliefs, doctrines, experiences, and places are described and explored in this truly comprehensive guide to the wacky, weird, and otherworldly.

Not sure the description does it justice – make sure you click on the ‘Search Inside this Book’ link at Amazon and peruse the contents, and read the opening pages. Jerry has said the that book is about “the relationship of imagination to experience and brings, I hope, some fresh ideas to the discussion.” Seems to me like a must for any writer or researcher, purely as a reference book, let alone for the enjoyment value. Definitely worth taking a look at.

    More like variants on one:

    Seven billion years ago men on the planet Klarion evolved into Archangels. These archangels from Klarion then created stars, including our own Sun. Each solar system has its own archangel, in our case Melchisedek, who we know as G*d. Every planet in our solar system has an angelic host.

    All mankind was created by Melchisedek (G*d) on “Lemuria” (Eden) 1,010,000 years ago, and mankind differentiated into 12 races while living there. The planet Earth’s Angels then split into 3 factions, and one third of the Earth’s angels brought on the first Pleistocene Geological period, which forced man from Lemuria (Eden).

    Ice accumulating at the Earth’s poles led to “centrifugal aberrations” which caused crustal displacements called “pole shifts”, and some mountain ranges emerged abruptly after these “pole shifts”. The geological strata mark the rises and falls of the continents beneath the oceans in these “pole shifts”.

    “Lemuria” re-emerged from the Pacific Ocean in 76,000 BC and the first great civilization formed there. “Katholis”, immigrant laborers largely from Central and South America let into the nation of “Mu” on “Lemuria”, and “Pfrees”, trade unionists, led to “Lemuria”’s corruption.

    [Note especially the names and roles given to these groups: if they seem to reflect early 20th century lumpen prole views, that is because they do.]

    Entry into the “Brotherhoods” are now restricted to “trained” individuals.

    Lemuria’s “Katholis” went on to India, where their priests set up the caste system.

    [Undoubtedly this was their reasoning why both Indians and Mexicans both have brown skins.]

    Lemuriia’s “Pfrees”, the trade unionists, went on to the islands which would form “Atlantis”.

    Tiwanaku at Lake Titicaca was a port between the Pacific Ocean and an “Amazonian Ocean” which joined with the Atlantic Ocean. It was raised to its present location by a “pole shift”.

    “Lemuria” was destroyed in another “pole shift” in 24,000 BC. Following this “pole shift” the water levels of the oceans fell, revealing the continent of “Atlantis” in the Atlantic Ocean. The “Poseid” nation flourished on the continent of “Atlantis”. Meanwhile, an “Osiris Civilization” formed in North Africa, an “Uighur Empire” in the Gobi Desert, and a “Rama Empire” in India.

    “Katholi” immigrants (originally the immigrant laborers let into the nation of “Mu” on “Lemuria” from Central and South America) now corrupted the “Poseid” nation on “Atlantis”.

    “Atlantis” sank ca. 10,500-8,500 BC in yet another “pole shift”. Following the sinking of “Atlantis”, “Poseids” under King Osiris fled to the Mediterranean area, carrying with them a “Holy of Holies” device.

    [This delusion is the source for much of today’s “ancient technologies”nonsense.]

    The Mediterranean Sea flooded when “Atlantis” sank, and Osiris’s “Poseids” along with “Poseids” from Africa went on to found the great civilization of Egypt. A priesthood arose in Egypt which enslaved the populace using “black mentalist” telepathic powers.

    Meanwhile, leaders in India revolted against the “Katholis” priests there and founded a technologically advanced “Rama Empire”. After “Atlantis” sank the “Rama Empire” declined.

    The Giza Pyramids were constructed 4,700 BC by the Hyksos, a white race from Ethiopia. The dimensions of the Great Pyramid carry prophetic messages. The Hyksos who constructed the Great Pyramids also emigrated to Crete, Phoenicia, and the British Isles, and in Britain they constructed Stonehenge.

    A mystery school of a ”brotherhood” existed at the Sphinx in Egypt. Akhnaten ruled over Egypt in 1375 BC and instituted a plan he learned at this mystery school. Moses was born 1300 BC, and was also educated at this mystery school. Moses wrote the Pentateuch, the first five books of the Bible, in Egyptian hieroglyphs, and Egyptian hieroglyphics have two meanings, one literal, and another one secret, symbolic.

    About 600 B.C. “grey occults” working under Ezra translated the Pentateuch, the first five books of the bible, from Moses’ Egyptian into Hebrew. The King’s Chamber of the Great Pyramid held the “Holy of Holies” device. “The Holy of Holies” was carried in the Ark of the Covenant from the Pyramids in Egypt to Solomon’s Temple in Jerusalem.

    Seven “Brotherhoods” were set up by Melchisedek (G*d) for the spiritual advancement of mankind. There are six lesser “Brotherhoods”: the Hermetic, Essene, Brahmic, Luciferian (Masonic), Rosicrucian, and Theosophist, and one greater Brotherhood, the Lemurian.

    Christ’s coming was announced by Isaiah in 700 BC. Prophets also arose from among the various other “Brotherhoods”: Zoroaster the Iranian, LaoTzu the Chinese, Mahivira the Jain, Budha the Indian, Confucius the Chinese; all arose between 630-551 BC.

    Jesus provided the physical body for the Archhangel Melchisedek (G*d) during his ministry on Earth as Christ. When Christ was crucified and died, Jesus re-occupied his body and restored it to health. Jesus is living today in Western Europe, where his body rests in a “somnolescent” condition in a protected cell.

    The “secret teachings” of Christ are taught by the “Brotherhoods”. Christ, through the “Brotherhoods”, protects against “Black Mentalists”. All the current churches in the world are antichrist. The greater part of the priests and ministers of the Christian churches and most other religions are “grey occults”, unwitting servants of “black mentalists”.

    [Note especially this total denigration of all other religions, and the warnings against any and all outside appeals to reason. These are common techniques cult leaders use to control the thinking of their victims who they con. ]

    The Masonic Brotherhood planned the United States around 4,000 BC

    Weather extremes will precede “Armageddon”, a nuclear war, which will occur before the year 2000. “Armageddon” will occur before the “Day of Doom”, a pole shift. Nine-tenths of mankind will die in these events.

    “Lemuria” will re-emerge from the Pacific Ocean in the “pole shift” in the year 2000, and the “Kingdom of God” would then be founded on “Lemuria”. After 1,000 years, Christ will return to the Earth to rule the Kingdom of God on “Lemuria”.

      What’s the source of the ‘hidden history’ you just wrote, E.P.?

      The name Klarion immediately reminded me of the story of Truman Bethurun, who in the 1950s claimed to have met a space babe from the planet Clarion: Aura Rhanes.

      Now, before you all roll your eyes and reply to me that all the Contactees that had wonderful encounters with blonde Venusians were a bunch of conmen or loonies, I invite you to read Contactees, the latest book by Nick Redfern; reading this book makes you entertain the idea that perhaps —just perhaps— these men and women came in contact with… something.

      I mean, the usual assumption of most people that read about Lemuria and Atlantis ad Melchizedek is that it’s all the product of human deception. Well, what happens if behind that there’s a kernel of non-human deception?

      What if all the silly hooey is a carefully-crafted exterior cover to prevent serious investigators to delve deeper into the origin of these myths?

      PS: Also, a must-read for any serious paranormal student is Messengers of Deception, by Vallee. In it, Vallee not only tried to investigate all the wild New Age claims concerning Melchizedek, he experienced personally an amazing synchronicity episode involving Melchizedek that he —a scientist— could simply not explain away as coincidence!

        The Lemuria stuff is deception by clever humans, cashing in on the believers.
        Of course the money goes to the reptilians, who are just a front for Al Gore.

        Al was put up as a straw man by those really behind the Green movement – the old guard of Marxists. These Marxists still are a perfect front for the Romanovs, who faked their own execution, albeit in a very amateurish way.

        Wait, we need aliens again, too many human levels in a row. Let’s see.

        Yes the Romanovs are not a front for anybody, they brutally killed off their Ptolemaeic predecossors, who were the rightful heirs to the thrones of Europe. These Atlanteans (that’s the Ptolemaeics) were androids directly controlled through quantum entanglement “radio” (there is no technical word for it) by the old enemies of the Reptilians, the Mer people.

        Unlike popular stories today, the Mer are actually not related to dolphins and otters, they are in fact molluscs. They look a little like their primitive evolutionary cousin, the octopus, especially around the eyes. The dolphins are just another distraction controlled by the Mer, again through the quantum entanglement radio. That’s why dolphins appear intelligent to human researchers, when in fact they are dumb as rocks.

        I don’t know. It needs some work, sure, but with the right marketing, we could eat the Reptilians’ lunch.

      With all due respect, I find Clark’s writings to be a valuable addition to my bookshelf, and additionally am more than willing to part with just $16 to reward him for his research and writing.

      Regarding the subject heading of your comment, I think the actual wording of the book’s blurb doesn’t just say “40 beliefs” (“More than 40 beliefs, doctrines, experiences, and places are described”).

    With all of the troubles of today, this type of subject in books, movies and television seems to be the ticket for many people to escape and enjoy a world unknown. I will be looking for the reviews.

  3. Hidden Realms, Lost Civilizations – Only Pages Apart?
    ‘The Hill’, is an old single-book collection of one page short stories that each center around the same mound of earth.

    After the first page which serves as a primer for the series, you begin the journey.

    The hill itself is quite ancient, but as with all things, it is constantly renewed. Each page you turn, you are faced with a new picture scene of the hill on the right and a brief overview on the left.

    In one setting, there is an entirely natural emerald lush green. Another shows a few species of dinosaurs. Then comes one as a frozen tundra and the next, with a small town 19th century-like in the background. Some of the versions are even a little bizarre, with buildings like one might find in sci-fi or fantasy stories.

    Another thing is that each page differs only slightly from the one before and the one after, suggesting perhaps a passage through time… but not in any particular order that we might immediately recognize. But, if you are looking over one at the beginning of the book and then thumb to one towards the end, the difference is suddenly quite vast.

    After reading for a spell, I like to set the book down and look out the window, imaging the rolling hills around where I live as they might have been at various times in the past, and how it all might someday be long after I am gone.

    That also leads to this comment, in that if each piece of history is so close as the turn of a few pages, then it might be that all time exists in the same space.

    Fleeting glimpses of what was and still is… only a few pages away.
